4th Annual St. Party's Day Celebration with Carlsberg

St. Patrick's Day officially falls on Monday March 17, 2014. But thanks to Carlsberg you can now celebrate all weekend long! St. Party's Day is from March 14 - 16, 2014.

Carlsberg St. Party's Day is a weekend long celebration in it's 4th consecutive year. This year, St. Party's Day is being held at Andrew Richards Design, and if the years past are any indication, you won't want to miss this party! What started out as a modest party with 3,000 attendees, St. Party's Day has grown to host over 8,000 people in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

I got the chance to watch my very first professional soccer game about a week ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I know a lot about enjoying sports in Toronto with teams such as the Raptors, Argos and Blue Jays that an opportunity arised with the help of Jonathan Sinden @JonSinden from Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. I was able to invite Twitter friends to a TFC game on a sunny afternoon. Each person also received 1st row seating and a collectable scarf. Thanks to MLSE, Jonathan Sinden and Dave Barker @dnbarker from the TFC football club

Here are the collectable scarves we each received for the game! Yes, those are my flourescent shoe laces!



At the game I noticed that the fans or as the football fans call it "Supporter" groups really get into the game. They chant, shout and scream like I've never heard in a different sporting venue. Win or lose you can tell these fans are diehard. In this pic the fans are so raucous that fans sometimes get carried away! See the broken chair for details. Mind you it was fixed in less than 5 minutes!



Just to add more to the already exciting time at a TFC game we also had the opportunity to hang out on field level to take photos and touch the real grass. Thanks to David Barker.



Now with all the excitement and fun in the sun I had to have myself a wobbly pop. This was the first time I had the Carlsberg beer and it was a thirst quencher to say the least.
